Here are some first aid measures for heat stroke

1. Move away from the high temperature environment immediately. Immediately transfer the person with heatstroke to a cool and ventilated place, make him or her lie flat, and take off protective equipment and sweat-soaked clothes according to epidemic prevention requirements.

2. Cool down quickly. Measures such as water bath or ice bath, electronic ice blanket, ice cap, ice bag, cooling, fan to accelerate evaporation, convection heat dissipation, etc. are taken to make the core body temperature of people with heat stroke drop to below 39℃ within 10min to 40min, 38.5℃ within 2 hours, and stop all strong cooling measures such as cold compress when it falls below 38.5℃. It is best to keep your muscles massaged while cooling down to promote circulation. Drug cooling is not recommended.

3. Replenish water and electrolytes. For those who are still conscious of heatstroke, they can be supplemented several times with salty cool drinks and soda water, but they should not be rushed to replenish a large amount of water, otherwise it will cause nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. Quick hydration is not recommended because soft drinks, caffeinated drinks and alcoholic drinks can interfere with water absorption.

4. Symptomatic treatment. Apply wind oil or cooling oil to the head temple of the person suffering from heatstroke; Huoxiang zhengqi water and other drugs can be taken orally when the patient is awake. If the person with heatstroke has lost consciousness, it can be pointed to pinch the people, hegu and other points to wake up; Cardiopulmonary resuscitation should be performed immediately in case of respiratory arrest. Once the symptoms of high fever, coma and convulsions occur, the patient should lie on his side, tilt his head back, keep his respiratory tract unobpatently, and immediately dial 120 for emergency treatment.

5. Rapid transshipment. According to the principle of "cooling first, transport later", when cooling and transport conflict, cooling first, transport second, continuous cooling during transport, open air conditioning or open Windows in the ambulance.
